Use the following procedure to directly connect to the built-in EtherNet/IP port via Ethernet. You can
connect to the built-in EtherNet/IP port even if the IP address has not been set on the computer.

Select the communications interface.
Select
Option - Select Interface - NJ/NX/NY Series Ethernet Direct I/F
.

Select
Network - Connect
and click the
OK
Button.
The Setup Interface Dialog Box is displayed if there are several Controllers that you can con-
nect to.

Select the Interface Card to connect and click the
OK
Button.
Select from the options displayed as
Controller model (IP number)
. The following dialog box is
displayed.

TCP:2
and then click the
OK
Button.
The following dialog box is displayed.
