You can change tag set names in this dialog box. To confirm a change, click the
Regist
Button
in the Edit Tag Set Dialog Box.

Perform steps 1 to 3 for all the devices to import variables and to create tag sets.
After you create the tag sets, click the
Connections
Tab at the top of the Edit Device Parameters Dia-
log Box, and set the following connection information.
•
The target devices with which connections are opened
•
The connection type (multi-cast or unicast)
•
The length of the packet intervals (RPI)
•
Connection name (optional)
Make the connections settings in the originator only. The connections settings are not necessary in the
target device.

Make the connections settings after you create tag sets for all of the devices involved in tag data
links.
Registering Devices in the Register Device List

Double-click the icon of the device for which to make originator settings in the Network Configu-
ration Pane of the Network Configurator. The Edit Device Parameters Dialog Box is displayed.
Right-click the icon to display the pop-up menu, and select
Parameter – Edit
.

Click the
Connections
Tab in the Edit Device Parameters Dialog Box. All of the devices regis-
tered in the network (except the local node) are displayed.
