Full ASCII Set
Usage:
Must be enabled when reading characters outside the standard character
set (0-9, A-Z, etc.)
User must know in advance whether or not to use
Full ASCII Set option.
Since
Full ASCII Set requires two symbol words to encode one charac-
ter, it is less efficient.
Definition:
Standard Code 39
encodes 43 characters; zero through nine, capital “A”
through capital “Z”, minus symbol, plus symbol, forward slash, space, dec-
imal point, dollar sign and percent symbol. When
Full ASCII Set is
enabled, the reader can read the full ASCII character set, from 0 to 255.
