Studio debugger communications settings page opens.
4. Select the version of Microsoft Visual Studio that is installed on your development
computer.

If you have both Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 and Microsoft Visual Studio 2005
installed on the development computer, use Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 to
debug your MIL application.
Creating the connection from your development computer to
your Matrox Iris GT
Connecting Microsoft Visual Studio on your development computer to your
Matrox Iris GT is a two-step process.
First, the Connection Manager client (CONMANCLIENT2) must be started on
your Matrox Iris GT. This will be used by Microsoft Visual Studio to
communicate with your Matrox Iris GT during the debugging process.
Second, the Microsoft Visual Studio CMACCEPT utility must be started on your
Matrox Iris GT to allow Microsoft Visual Studio to communicate across the
connection.

Note that you must create the connection from your development computer to
your Matrox Iris GT each time you need to debug or build a MIL application for
your Matrox Iris GT.
To create the connection from your development computer to your Matrox
Iris GT, perform the following:
1. On your development computer, open a command prompt window and type the
following at the prompt:
A welcome message appears, followed by the telnet prompt.
2. Type the following at the telnet prompt:
telnet IrisName
