Serial console settings
. Specifies that the serial console should be used as if it were
a telnet session. After you restart the operating system of your Matrox Iris GT,
most of the POST messages will not appear in your serial console. Instead, you
will be prompted to press
Enter
and will be able to interact with your Matrox
Iris GT through your serial console as if it were a regular telnet session.
SNTP and mail client page
The
SNTP and mail client
page allows you to configure the simple network time
protocol (SNTP) for your Matrox Iris GT. SNTP synchronizes the system time
on a computer with that of a server that has been synchronized by a reference
source.

server after the previous attempt failed.

time on your Matrox Iris GT is not updated.
