Appendix F: The breakout board
Breakout board power source connector
The breakout board power source connector is a combination of one DC power
socket and two wire terminals. You can use either the DC power socket or the two
wire terminals to connect the power supply to the breakout board. Note that a
DC power supply is provided in the Matrox Iris GT starter kit. Alternately, you
can connect an open-wire power supply to the J19 and J20 wire terminals.

Note that the wire terminals are meant to receive power from an external source
and should not be connected to the open-ended digitial I/O and power cable.
The pinout for the breakout board power source connector is as follows:
