Modify shared folders
. Specifies the shared folder configuration information for
existing shared folders. It also allows you to modify or delete the shared folder
configuration information.

Telnet server settings
. Specifies the information for configuring your Matrox
Iris GT telnet server.
Field
Description
Share name
Specifies the unique name used to identify the folder. This is the name that will be visible to users.
Folder path
Specifies the physical (true) folder location of the specified shared folder. A full path (including the first back slash) must be
included.
Allowed users
Specifies the users that can see and use this shared folder. Multiple entries must be separated by a semicolon (;). Use @*
to allow all users access and @[group_name] to allow all users of a particular group access (for example,
@Administrators or @PowerUsers).

Accepts changes made for the shared folder. Note that the operating system must be restarted for changes to take effect.
Delete entry
Deletes the entry. Note that the operating system must be restarted for changes to take effect.

Enable telnet server
Specifies whether telnet is enabled on your Matrox Iris GT. Telnet provides
remote network terminal access from which you can easily run the Matrox
Iris GT utilities.
Enable authentication by telnet server
Specifies whether to authenticate users accessing the telnet server. User names
and passwords are sent via TCP/IP in plain text.
List of allowed users
Specifies the users that can see and use the telnet server. Multiple entries must
be separated by a semicolon (;). Use @* to allow all users access and
@[group_name] to allow all users of a particular group access (for example,
@Administrators or @PowerUsers).
Maximum number of communication retry attempts
Specifies the /maximum number of times that the telnet server (your Matrox
Iris GT) should try to communicate with a computer before giving up and closing
the connection.
