The
Application error settings
page includes error dump and out-of-memory
settings for applications running on your Matrox Iris GT.
By default, MIL for Microsoft Windows CE limits its use of system memory to
make sure there is always 5 Mbytes available to the operating system and various
services.

of memory and the location in which to store the dump files.
•

Out-of-memory lower limit (in Kbytes)
Specifies the minimum amount of memory that, when detected, will trigger an
out-of-memory error. Note that this value should be greater than the
out-of-memory critical limit. The default value is 256 Kbytes.
Maximum alloc allowed in low memory (in Kbytes)
Specifies the maximum amount of memory that an application can allocate when
your Matrox Iris GT has reached the out-of-memory lower limit. If an allocation
larger than the maximum allowed is attempted, the allocation fails. The default
value is 16 Kbytes.
Out-of-memory critical limit (in Kbytes)
Specifies the minimum amount of memory that, when detected, will trigger an
out-of-memory error and stop your program. Note that this value should be less
than the out-of-memory lower limit. The default value is 128 Kbytes.
