Distributed MIL settings page
The Distributed MIL settings page allows you to set the MIL server and client
settings for use with Distributed MIL.
• Server settings . Specifies the Distributed MIL server settings. These are used when
your Matrox Iris GT is the server.
• Client settings . Specifies the Distributed MIL client settings. These are used when
your Matrox Iris GT is the client.
Field name Description
Server listening port Specifies the port on which the Distributed MIL server should listen for new connection requests,
and which your application should access to initiate new connections. The default value is 57010.
Automatically start DMIL server at boot Enables Distributed MIL when your Matrox Iris GT boots.
Port range used by DMIL slave(s) Specifies the range of ports on which the Distributed MIL remote computers listen for new
connection requests, and which your Matrox Iris GT with MIL should access to initiate new
connections. The default range is 57000 through 57009.
Status Specifies the status of Distributed MIL on your Matrox Iris GT.
Button name Description
Stop/Start Starts or stops Distributed MIL on your Matrox Iris GT. The labeling of this button is dynamic. If Distributed
MIL is enabled, clicking on this button will disable (stop) Distributed MIL. If, however, Distributed MIL is
disabled, clicking on this button will enable (start) Distributed MIL.
Update settings Accepts the changes to the Distributed MIL server settings.

connections. The default range is 57000 through 57009.
