Steps to run utilities integrated in the operating system of your
Matrox Iris GT
To run the utilities integrated in the operating system of your Matrox Iris GT,
perform the following:
1. Before running either the FullRescue or IrisBackup utilities, stop any running MIL
applications and share a folder on your network with your Matrox Iris GT, if one
isn’t already shared. Note that, when using the FullRescue utility, this folder should
contain the rescue files.
If your MIL application does not have any other method of being stopped, you
can stop it by performing the following:
a. Open Microsoft Internet Explorer and go to the Assignment settings page of
the Matrox Iris portal website using the following address:
b. In the
Modify Start-up applications
section, terminate any running MIL
applications by changing the application status from
Active
to
Inactive.
c. Click on the associated
Modify entry
button.
2. Open a command prompt window and type the following at the prompt:
A welcome message appears, followed by the telnet prompt.
3. At the telnet prompt, type the name of the utility along with the required
parameters, and then press the
Enter
key.
