Time/date settings page
The Time/date settings page allows you to manually set the date and time for
your Matrox Iris GT. Note that, if SNTP or Use automatic time change for
daylight savings time is enabled, you must reboot your Matrox Iris GT before
changes to the date and/or time can take affect. Multiple changes to the time and
date will not take affect if they are made on the same day.
System password page
The System password page allows you to specify a password that limits access to
your Matrox Iris GT. By default, the system password is blank.

Note that this is the password used during basic authentication.
Field name Description
Date Specifies the date in the following format: mm/dd/yyyy.
Time Specifies the time in the following format: hh:mm:ss.
Time zone Specifies the time zone. A list of time zones is provided.
Use automatic time change for daylight saving time Specifies whether daylight saving time (also called DST or Summer Time) will be used.
This is the local time that a country adopts for a portion of the year, usually an hour
forward from its standard, official time.
Button name Description
Change date/time settings Accepts changes made for the date and time.
Field name Description
System user Specifies the system user’s name. The default user is named "admin" and cannot be changed.
System password Specifies the old system password.
New system password Specifies the new system password.
New system password confirmation Specifies the new system password again to assure that no errors are made when the password is
entered. Note that if this field does not contain the same information as the
New system password field,
an error will occur.
Button name Description
Change password Changes the system password. Note that you must restart the operating system for this change to take effect.
