170 Appendix H: Matrox Iris GT utilities
AUTOSTCE utility
The AUTOSTCE utility launches other utilities and applications that are either
essential or registered by a user in the
Assignment settings page of the Matrox Iris
portal website. AUTOSTCE is always executed after the operating system is
initialized. AUTOSTCE will launch internal applications needed to initialize your
Matrox Iris GT before launching any utilities or applications registered by a user.

Errors
• Unable to access \CEDisk\MIL . The flash disk was not detected or not formatted
properly.
• AUTOSTCE failed to find the file app.exe . The application’s settings were not
specified with the correct path. Go to the Assignment settings page page of the
Matrox Iris portal website and verify that the settings for the application are
correct.
• Unable to start app.exe . The application cannot be loaded or executed. Go to the
Assignment settings page page of the Matrox Iris portal website and verify that
the settings for the application are correct.
• Default web page not present on disk . The flash disk was not detected or not
formatted properly or does not contain a valid Matrox Iris portal website. Wait
until the User LED is green before trying again.
• HTTP server not started . The web server for your Matrox Iris portal website is
not operational. Please wait until the User LED is green before trying again.
• RemoteAgent application not detected by AUTOSTCE . The RemoteAgent
application is not running on your Matrox Iris GT. Please wait until the User
LED is green before trying again.
\>AUTOSTCE
