Steps to run utilities installed on your Matrox Iris GT
To run the utilities installed on your Matrox Iris GT, perform the following:
1. Open a command prompt window and type the following at the prompt:
A welcome message appears, followed by the telnet prompt.
2. At the telnet prompt, type the name of the utility along with the required
parameters, and then press the
Enter
key.
BootUpd utility
The BootUpd utility applies any pending fixes to the Microsoft Windows CE
operating system files, boot parameters, and registry settings. It is the first
application launched by AUTOSTCE. You can only apply fixes, provided by
Matrox. Note that you cannot manually run this utility.

Certimport utility
The Certimport utility can create a request for an internet security certificate
and/or directly import a file that contains a private key. The internet security
certificate uses a digital signature to bind together a public key with an identify.
The certificate is then used to verify that a public key belongs to an individual.
Internet security certificates are used to create secure links over which private data
can be safely shared.
