Select the IPL type and mode that the customer uses (see

in “Powering On and Powering Off the System and Logical
Partitions” on page 922).

If you select Normal mode when you power on the system, the

option will not be shown.

Start an IPL by powering on the system (see “Powering On and Powering Off
the System and Logical Partitions” on page 922).
Did the system complete the IPL?
Yes
