1 PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The BLOCK PILOT TRIPPING signal is assigned to CC4 in the default settings. BLOCK PILOT TRIPPING disables the
pilot scheme logic, while allowing the backup Zone 1, Zone 2, etc. to function. Typically, an external contact wired to CC4 is
closed when the associated carrier set is removed from service to prevent overtripping on external faults.
