The MAC address is made up of six pairs of characters. Each character can be either a number between 0 and
9, or a letter between A and F. For example,

Configuring a PPPoA ADSL connection
If your Service Provider’s Internet service uses PPPoA the programming follows the same steps as the PPPoE above,
selecting PPPoA rather than PPPoE. The only difference is that the MAC spoofing option is not provided in this case
Configuring a DHCP ADSL connection – RFC 1483
If your Service Provider uses a DHCP DSL connection, your Service Provider may tell you to set unique path and circuit
numbers (called VPI and VCI) in order to connect your system to the Service Provider’s Internet service. In most cases,
your system will use default settings, so you may not need to enter these values.
Note
Your Service Provider will provide you with the VPI/VCI values
necessary to setup a DHCP DSL connection.
