Answering Machine
In default Line Divert on no Answer is set for all lines. If an incoming call is not answered within 18 seconds the call is
automatically presented to the Answering Machine. This applies to all calls received on all lines.
You can programme the system so that the calls are not automatically presented to the Answering Machine unless it is
turned on. You can also decide which lines are answered by the Answering Machine and how long calls ring before they
are answered.
Before programming the Answering Machine the Line Divert on No Answer to the Answering Machine should be turned off.
On the idle menu of a ip520c select Line Divert. Select Line 1 and then select Divert On No Answer. Do the same for Line 2
and IP Trunks 1 and 2.
Continue then to programme the Answering Machine.
