Using Timer to Set IC Card Lock
Using Face Reader to Set IC Card Lock in Double Security
When the specified time has elapsed with nothing operated on the Stand-by display, IC Card Lock is
automatically set.
You can set IC Card Lock in Double Security, with Face Reader and the Terminal Security Code together.
To apply Double Security, store three or more face data items by “Face reader setting” (see page 343)
and select “Double security” as described bellow:

You cannot set/release this function during a call or while another function is working.

If the battery runs out when the IC card is locked, the IC card stays locked.

While another function is working, IC Card Lock is not set even after the specified time has elapsed with the Stand-by display shown.
●
If you close or open the FOMA phone, the elapsed time counter returns to 0 seconds.

While “Timer lock” is set to “ON”, IC Card Lock is temporarily released when you try to release IC Card Lock; however, IC Card Lock
is set again when the specified time has elapsed with no operation done with Stand-by display shown. Not to automatically set IC
Card Lock, set “Timer lock” to “OFF”.

Selecting the item activates Security Mode and the former display returns.
