Working with hammer

WARNING

Risk of severe personal injury.

While working with the hammer flying chips of rock

could cause severe injury.

Provide protective nets for the windscreens. Keep

windows and door closed and prevent persons from

entering the risk zone when operating the hydraulic

breaker.
NOTE!

Select the proper attachment in accordance with

the machine on which the attachment is installed.

The type of attachment which is able to be installed

varies with the machine type. Contact an authorized

Volvo dealer workshop.
NOTE!

Do not operate the hammer until you read and

understand operation and maintenance guide.
NOTE!

Do not perform any service or maintenance until

you read and understand hammer manual.

NOTICE

The standard version of the hammer must not be

used under water. If water fills the space where the

piston strikes the tool, a strong pressure wave is

generated and the hammer may be damaged.

NOTICE

If the hammer is connected to an attachment

bracket, the attachment bracket should be checked

regularly for damage.
