8.4. Inverter Control logic
8.4.1. Compressor short cycling protection
For reliability purposes when the compressor goes from On to Off, it must remain off for at least of 2
minutes 30 seconds (minimum off time). And to avoid short and frequent on / off cycles, the control
algorithm will wait 3 minutes (maximum on time) before stop the unit.
8.4.2. Minimum compressor run time
For reliability purposes this algorithm forces the compressor to run for a minimum amount of time. Once the
compressor is running, it must run for a minimum of 3 minutes before switching off.
This protection is ignored when:
•
An alarm forces the compressor off
•
User requests the unit to turn off
•
A/C Power Interruption
•
A mode change occurs
•
20 second loss of high voltage communications
8.4.3. Two-way Valve Control
The conditions for opening and closing the 2-way valve are shown in the table below.
