Cleaning must be carried out with a soft brush or a vacuum cleaner from top to bottom
and bottom to top, never across to avoid damaging the fins.

1. With a vacuum cleaner the first cleaning phase consists of removing fibres and dust accumulated on the OUTSIDE
coil surfaces with a soft brush or a vacuum cleaner. Side to be cleaned with a vacuum cleaner/brush.
2. Spray cleaning:
Before spraying the recommended product(s) install a tarpaulin protection sheet
BEFORE STARTING ANY WORK ISOLATE THE POWER SUPPLY AND LOCK IT OFF
It is imperative to check, if any deposit has accumulated at the base of the coil system. If any deposit has
accumulated, rooftop must be removed to access at inside of coil (refer to Section 10)

Base of the coil
The accumulation of deposits is frequently found in the area indicated by the arrow, especially accumulation of salt,
contributing to unit corrosion.
Rinse the system, taking the precaution to collect the deposits in an adequate container (container optional to prevent
deposits collecting at the base or on the floor of the unit
).
Carefully observe the instructions in Section 1

Rinsing the system.
The spray direction is very important to avoid damaging the coils. It must be done:
•
from top to bottom and bottom to top
•
the pipe must be positioned aslant to the fins
•
in the opposite direction of the air flow direction
•
with a large diffuser (25-30°)
•
at a minimum distance of 300 mm from the coil
15.3.
Leakage control
As with any air conditioning / Refrigeration system a through leak check should be carried out at regular intervals to
avoid the loss of refrigerant, in accordance with national regulations and regional regulations.

15.4.
Hydronic cycle
15.4.1.
Purge
No purge and air vent are supplied with unit; nevertheless it is necessary to fit the hydraulic circuit of purge and air
vent on site (at higher point of circuit).
At the installation, the hydraulic network must be cleaned and purged. And if water circuit has been emptied for
maintenance operations, circuit need to be purged from any air remaining before running.

Steps
1. Isolate the hydraulic circuit and empty the water from the hydraulic circuit with the drain valve
2. Unscrew the filter with the wrench of 35mm
3. Remove the screen filter
