Header / Follower

Header/Follower Pump type (Par. 758) is used to define pump control for units
operating in the assembly:
0 = No pump control
1 = Common Water Pump; a pump is installed outside the unit on the water loop and
it is controlled by the Header
2 = Individual Water Pump: Running according to the Header/Follower overall status
(Par. 229); each Header or Follower unit has its own pump
3 = Individual Water Pump: Pump is stopped when the unit is satisfied.

No Internal Pump Option (pmp_type = 0)

If no internal main pump is fitted then parameter [P804] = 0. There are 2 control options for the no internal main pump
configuration:

•

Either the external main pump is not controlled by the unit and

External Main Pump Control

parameter

[P561]

is set to

“No” (0)

(then the pump relay of the NHC board is forced to off)

OR

•

The external main pump is controlled by the unit and the External Main Pump Control parameter

[P561]

is set

to "Yes" (1) (then the pump relay of the NHC board can be used to control an external (customer) pump).

Note: The External Main Pump Ctrl parameter [P561] is only enable the Factory set parameter [P804] is set to 0 (no
internal pump available)

It is recommended to control the external pump using a relay / contactor connected to TB X2, on the Monobloc
outdoor unit, as shown below:
