7-3 Description of Functions
Speed - torque control switching function
Speed - torque control switching is the ability to switch outside terminal of the inverter, the speed control and the
torque control.
At the time of the speed control (F1001=2 or 3), turned ON VTC signal of multi-function input terminal (Selected by
F1414-F1421), the control mode of the motor is changed to the torque control from speed control.
This feature does not work when torque control (F1001 = 4, 5) of the motor control mode (It becomes the torque
control at all times regardless of the state of the signal VTC).
Motor control mode to speed control, turned ON VTC signal of multi-function input terminal, motor control mode is
switched to the torque control. Turned OFF VTC signal, motor control mode will return to speed control.
The torque limit of speed control is being executed in accordance with the setting of F6002(Power running) and
F6004(Regeneration).
The speed limit of torque control is being executed in accordance with the setting of the F6114.
Switching is possible in stopped or while driving.
F6120 Switching delay time of speed - torque control
When switching the torque control and the speed control, and then enter (OFF or ON) a switching signal(VTC), please
set the time control mode is to switch actually.

When switching speed - torque control, you can respond to the delay time of the sequence circuit.
●
When the inverter is the deceleration for the stop or inverter is the braking excitation, switching of control does not
work regardless of the setting of the F6120. If the switching signal(VTC signal) is input during deceleration for
stopping the inverter or inverter braking excitation in, signal input is enabled to the inverter after stopping or restarting
operation after.
Note: The specifications of the switching operation, switching delay of 0-2msec will occur in addition to setting
the value of the F6120.
