When Braking method (F1111) set Deceleration to stop + Continuous DC braking (F1111=4), this function can select
DC braking method. This function enables during V/f control mode (F1001=1 or 40).

External terminal (DCBRK) (F1117=0)
During external terminal (DCBRK) is ON at running deceleration, the inverter keeps running DC braking. After
external terminal (DCBRK) is OFF, the inverter stops DC braking. If external terminal (DCBRK) is ON during
inverter stop, DC braking doesn‘t run.

Continuous (F1117=1)
The inverter keeps running DC braking. If you need to stop the inverter, external terminal (MBS) is ON or operator
push the STOP key on the operation panel.

Stop over the setting time (F1117=2)
Total time of Deceleration DC braking time T1 (F1119), Deceleration DC braking time T2 (F1120) and
Deceleration DC braking time T3 (F1121) is over, the DC braking will be stopped.
●
During DC braking, if the key is pressed again, the DC braking will be released.
●
During deceleration DC braking, if operation signal is ON, then the inverter starts again by normal running
process.
Note: This function (F1117) enable during V/f control mode (F1001=1 or 40).

A function for setting DC braking start frequency during braking method is selected Deceleration to stop + Continuous
DC braking (F1111=4).

When the inverter set F1111=4, the output frequency drops as the stop signal is input, Continuous DC braking
starts at the time point where the value is below the frequency set by F1118.

Starting frequency (F1103) disable during F1111=4.
●
After the operation signal has been input, if the set frequency is below the operation start frequency (F1104) or
deceleration DC braking start frequency (F1118), the following actions will be executed according to the
magnitude relation between operation start frequency and DC braking start frequency.

Operation start frequency ≥ Deceleration DC braking start frequency.
If the set frequency is lower than the deceleration DC braking start frequency, even if it is higher than DC
braking start frequency, the output frequency will be decreased to deceleration DC braking start frequency, and
then continuous DC braking starts.
