Description of Functions
● Depending on an auto tuning result, the preset value of excitation current (F5014) becomes large.
It may become
over excitation when it operates then.
Please adjust by lowering the preset value of excitation current then.
Note: When the auto tuning cannot be finished correctly, the tuning results should not be saved into the function codes.
Only results during correct finish can be stored into the function codes.

Typical values have been entered for each motor model.
● An effective function during vector control (speed control, torque control and position control).
● After the setting of load inertia moment ratio, the command can be controlled.
● Mechanical vibration may happen in case that the load inertia moment ratio is large; therefore an optimum gain
should be adjusted.
● Please set motor unit value for motor rotation inertia.
● When load inertia moment can be ignored, there is no need to set the load inertia moment ratio.
● When driving cylinder and other loads with larger inertia, please set the load inertia moment ratio.
● Running the auto-tuning mode 2 (F1001=11), inertia of the motor is set to automatically F5015.
● Running the auto-tuning mode 2 (F1001=11) with load, total inertia of the motor and the load can tune.
● Motor inertia is not estimated by the auto tuning mode 1 (F1001 = 10). When you execute the auto tuning mode 1
and result of motor inertia is more different from standard motor inertia, F5105 doesn‘t change the setting value.
Note1: If you have greatly changed the setting F5015 and F5016, it is possible that mechanical vibration is
generated. To make adjustments safely, please adjust by changing with the appropriate amount of
adjustment setting.
Note2: If the auto tuning is not completed properly, the motor inertia is not stored in the function code. When the
auto tuning is completed correctly only, the measured result is stored in the function code.

This function sets the iron loss resistance of the motor to be used.

● Iron loss resistance are set in F5017 is iron loss resistance when it is rotating at rated speed.
● If you want to set the iron loss resistance value, run the auto-tuning mode 2 (F1001=11). After you have completed
the auto tuning mode 2, iron loss resistance of the motor is set to automatically F5017.
● Iron loss resistance is not estimated by the auto tuning mode 1 (F1001 = 10). When you execute the auto tuning
mode 1, 0 is set to automatically F5017.
● If you set the iron loss resistance value in F5017, torque display of speed control(F1001 = 2 or 3) and torque
command value of torque control(F1001 = 4 or 5) will be corrected.
● If it is set to 0 in F5017, torque correction by the iron loss resistance does not occur. Therefore, should be set to 0
F5017 if you do not want to torque correction by iron loss resistance.
Note: If the auto tuning is not completed properly, the iron loss resistance is not stored in the function code.
When the auto tuning is completed correctly only, the measured result is stored in the function code.
