19.12 Safely-Limited Position (SLP)
The function monitors the lower and upper position limit.
Preconditions
The following function must be executed:
•
Set upper position value.
•
Set lower position value.
•

For operation within the upper limit value, the SLPpos observed status is used. 0x28D3:000
For operation within the lower limit value, the SLPneg observed status is used. 0x28D2:000
The upper and lower position limits parameterised are monitored at the time of the request,
see SLPx observed status bit.
The status can
•
be assigned to the safe output ( 0x28BB:001 0x28BB:001 or 0x28BB:002 0x28BB:002 ).
•
be reported via the safety bus ( 0x28B9:001 0x28B9:001 or 0x28BB:002 0x28B9:002 ).
This function can be executed during normal operation and special operation. See

Up to four absolute position setpoint pairs can be parameterised and monitored at the same
time.
In connection with this function, please also observe the information with
regard to safe homing in chapter Safe homing (SHOM) .
Via a safe input, if the corresponding parameter is assigned to the safe input.
Activation of the function
A data telegram is sent to the inverter via the safety bus. See chapter "
Safe network interfa-
ces ".

Behaviour of the function in the event of an error
If the Plim position limit is exceeded during the monitoring process,
•
an error message is triggered.
•
a stop function for the parameters set
