(4) The measurements of the skew (mm) and the judgment result are displayed. (The threshold for judgment is
±7mm. If the measurement is this value or less, the result is OK.)
The amount of skew is measured at Line 4, 7, 10, 13, and 16. The + and - signs indicate the direction of the
skew.
(5) Click [Variation of skew (bit)] to display the measurements of the skew change (bit). (The threshold for
judgment is ±7bit. If the measurement is this value or less, the result is OK.)
The amount of skew change (bit) compared to Line 1 is measured at Lines 4, 7, 10, 13, and 16. The + and-
signs indicate the direction of the skew.
(6) Click [Confirm].
If the result is NG (not OK), check the following:.
•
When you set the document, did you move the document guide until it just touches the right side of the
sheets?
•
Is there any foreign objects attached to the T1 drive roller?
•
Is the T1 pinch roller installed properly?
(7) The screen automatically goes back to step (1). Click [Finish].
