Calibration of white level

Calculates a ratio between White Background part on the CIS Unit assembly and color level of the OCR TEST

SHEET scanned actually, and calibrates color image level inputted the scanner with the ratio.

Be sure to run the calibration after replacing CIS Unit assembly.

(1) On the Calibration of scanner window, select “Calibration of white level”, and click [Run].

(2) Usually leave the Date of measurement and Number of sheets for measurement as they are. (If the

measurement date is wrong, correct the date.) Set five sheets of the test sheet (040-7-4) in the following
direction on the Scanner, and click [Run]. (If the measurement date is wrong, correct the date.)

(3) Click [Yes].
