Replacing CIS Unit assembly (Front) (Upper)

Notice:

•

Be sure to remove and attach the parts in accordance with the described procedure.

When removing or attaching forcibly or incompletely, it may cause a malfunction.

(1)

Remove the Top Cover and Main Cover (L) / (R). See

“8.1.1 How to remove or attach the covers”

(2)

Unlock the Cable Clamp 1 and loosen the cable.

(3) Remove 2 washer faced head screws (305) fixing the Holder Block each for right and left (total 4) of the

Holder Block.

(4) Rotate the CIS Unit assembly forward with pressing the part shown below and remove the CIS Unit assembly

downward.

Note: Be careful not to apply too much force when removing the CIS Unit.

Note: Be careful that the SPRING (CIS) in the Holder Block might spring.

(5) Unlock the Cable Clamp 2 fixed CIS Unit assembly and disconnect the J201 connector.

* ARM (CIS) and Holder Block has grease applied (white), be careful not to transfer the grease to other parts.
