(4) Replacing Main PCB assembly Case 4

When you do not have a previous device unique information entry sheet.

The replacement procedure itself is the same as described in

Case (3)

. The difference lies in a calculation

method of estimates.

This represents the case when you cannot load the device unique information and cannot record the latest
information. This case happens mostly because of failure in Main PCB.

Instead of loading the device unique information, you need to enter information manually.

When you do that, enter the Scanner model as shown below and the Option and the Special Order options
(Customized options) as shown in the Option Label on the back of the scanner for the option information. For
the operation information, enter estimates.
