8.3.21 Replacing Gas Spring
•
When you replace the Gas Spring, work with the Main Unit open.
•
Don't remove the Gas Spring on both sides at one time because the Main
Unit falls. Be sure to replace one by one.
(1) Remove the Top Cover, Main Cover (L) / (R), and Side Cover (L) / (R). See “8.1.1 How to remove or attach
the covers” .
(2) Remove 2 E-rings (TW007) fixing the Gas Spring, and remove the Gas Spring
(3) Attach using the above steps in reverse. Be careful with the direction of the Gas Spring.
Note: Do not use removed E-rings when attaching. Use new ones.
