Replacing Ink Pad Pack (Rear) (only for the scanner which equips the rear Imprinter.)

CAUTION:

•

Ink Pad Pack (Rear) and the peripheral part may be staind with ink and the ink may be

get on skin and clothes. Be careful with stained ink at replacement work.

•

If ink should enter eyes or be swarrowed by mistake, wash the eyes or gargle and

contact the nearest medical service.

(1) Remove the Top Cover and Main Cover (L). See

“8.1.1 How to remove or attach the covers”

.

(2) Remove 1 bind-head screw (SB306N) fixing the Ink Pad Pack (Rear), and remove the Ink Pad Pack (Rear).
(3) Remove the Ink Pad Pack (Rear) from the Ink Pad Bracket as not to leave a double-sided tape and clean the

Ink Pad Bracket.

Use, for example, gauze dampened with absolute ethanol to remove the tape dirt attached on the Ink Pad
Bracket.

(4) Peel the sheet on the back of new Ink Pad Pack and install the Ink Pad aligning the edge of the Ink Pad in vinyl

pack to the edge of Ink Pad Bracket.

(5) Attach using the above steps in reverse with fitting the positioning hole to the bump.
(6) Clear the life count of the Ink Pad. See “
