8.3 Replacing maintenance parts

Before replacement, perform the diagnosis in accordance with

“4.1 Diagnostic Items for Each Operation”

and

“4.2

Diagnostic Order for Parts Replacement”

8.3.1

Replacing Main PCB assembly (CPS878 PCB)

Before replacing Main PCB assembly, see

“4.3 Replacing Main PCB assembly (CPS878 PCB)”

to transfer the

device unique information written in the Main PCB assembly to be replaced to new one.

Caution on high temperature

•

Some parts may become hot. Work after cooling them down enough.

(1) Remove the Top Cover, Main Cover (L) / (R), Side Cover (L) / (R), and Back Cover. See

“8.1.1 How to

remove or attach the covers”

(2) Remove 1 bind-head screw (SB306N) fixing the PCB cover and remove it in the arrow direction. (When

attaching the PCB cover, fix it with 1 bind-head screw (SB306N)

after hooked the PCB cover)
