7.5 Option Settings
Notice:

When you update the setting, check if the new setting is correct to ensure the correct update.

If you change the options in the Start mode [2], after the option settings are stored, the device will
restart. Do not turn off the device until the device goes into the standby mode.

Confirm that the model name, options and the special order options are correct.

Normally, the device information is stored before the replacement using the procedure described in

7.6 Load / Store Device Unique Information
", and load the stored device information back to the new
Main PCB assembly (CPS878) after the replacement. This function is used to directly change the
settings if for some reason, loading and storing the settings is not possible when you replace the
Main PCB assembly (CPS878)
Shows the model name and the special order options of the Scanner. This function allows you to set up and
change the model name and the special order options of the Scanner.
Start mode
[1] "Display" is used for displaying the model name and the options.
[2] "Maintenance1" is used for setting up or updating the model name or options.

Start mode [1] Display
(1) Specify [1] for Start mode and press Enter .
(2) Confirm that the model name shown in the window is same as below and the options shown in the window is
same as the Option Label on the back of the scanner.
Press [PageDown] or select [Next Page:Page Down] in the window with mouse to go to the window that shows
special order options.
