4.3.4 Example: Configuring the TDM PWE3 to Emulate TDM
Services on the IP Network
The MA5600T/MA5603T/MA5608T supports SAToP encapsulation for non-frame E1 signals
and implements the TDM PWE3 emulation service after IP-encapsulating the signals. In this
way, the MA5600T/MA5603T/MA5608T provides emulated TDM private line service over the
IP network.
Service Requirements
l
To make full use of legacy TDM line and equipment, and replace legacy DDN network
and ISDN PRI PBX convergence network.
l
To perform MPLS over IP encapsulation on the E1 data aggregated by the Nx64k private
line and ISDN PRI PBX, and transmit the data upstream as IP packets to the DDN network
or SDH network.
Prerequisite
l
The H802EDTB board and SPUB board are installed and work in the normal state.
