Application Scenarios
, ONUs, functioning as Dock devices, receive Ethernet service data
from small-cell base stations through Ethernet ports and then send the service data to the OLT.
The OLT restores the Ethernet signals and adds 2 VLAN tags (QinQ VLAN encapsulation) to
the data, so that the data from the small-cell base stations can be transparently transmitted to the
peer PTN devices through the public network and then the PTN devices restore them to the
original data.
