Setting and Query of Self Calibration

= OFF/ MANUal /AUTO

Explanation

Command Sets the self calibration function.

OFF

: Adjust using factory default self calibration value.

MANUal : When there is a request to start from EXT I/O during mea-

surement start, the self calibration value will be acquired
and adjusted.

AUTO

: Self calibration value will be acquired and adjusted for

each measurement.

Query

Returns the self calibration function settings as letters.

Example

When there is a request to start the acquisition of the self calibration
value, setting to acquire the self calibration value will be carried out.

start the acquisition of the self calibration value.

Request for Start of Self Calibration

Syntax

Command

:CALibration:ADJust

Explanation

Command Request for start of self calibration.

Self calibration value will be acquired during measurement after com-
mand handling.
To acquire a suitable self calibration value, connect the object to be
tested firmly to the measurement terminal, and activate the trigger for
the object to be tested after setting the measurement frequency, level
and range.

Example

Command 1. Connect the object to be tested to the measurement terminal

2. Set the measurement frequency, level and suitable range
3. Carry out :CALibration:ADJust
4. Activate the trigger (the order of 1-3 can be changed)

Note

• Start request is only accepted when the self calibration function is set

to “MANUAL”. An error will show for settings other than “MANUAL”.

• When there is a start request from :CALibration:ADJust, self cali-

bration will start in the measurement after the request.

• Please take a new self calibration value if the ambient temperature

has changed by more than 2°C.
