Chapter 6: Analyzer Operation

Archiving the Data History

This feature allows you to export the data history in CSV format and delete the data store. Make sure to insert a 
USB flash drive in the USB port at least 15 seconds before selecting this feature. After downloading the data, the 
unit will automatically shut down, power off, and restart. This button will be grayed out if there is no data in the 
history file or if the Analyzer is running.

To archive the data history

1. Insert a USB flash drive into the USB port, and wait 15 seconds.

2. Select the 

Maintenance

 tab.

3. Press the 

Advanced

 button. The 

Advanced

 

screen appears.

4. Press the 

Archive Data

 button.

5. Press 

Continue

 at the prompt to archive the data or press 

Abort 

to cancel.

Shutting Down the Analyzer

To ensure that you do not lose any data, always shut down the Analyzer using the on-screen menu before using 
the power switch.

To shut down the Analyzer

1. Make sure analysis is stopped.

2. Select the 

Maintenance 

tab

.

3. Press the 

Shutdown

 button. The 

Confirm Shutdown

 dialog box appears.

4. Press 

Yes

 and allow approximately 30 seconds for the firmware to close. The screen will shut down and 

the instrument will go into standby mode. You may leave the Analyzer in this state to save power. Touch 
the screen to restore the Analyzer or turn the power switch to 

off 

to shut down the Analyzer. 

5. If you are planning to perform maintenance inside the Analyzer, make sure to shut down and power off 

the Analyzer.

Archiving data will erase all measurement data from the Analyzer when it moves it to the USB flash 
drive.
