BPC loading instructions
7.
For tanks with the optional BPC hoist system
, open the vessel
door and detach the BPC from the hoist. Then use the hoist lift
controller to raise the hoist.
Leave approximately 76.2 mm to
101.6 mm (3–4 in.) of the hoist strap from the motor.
Note:
Do not attempt to remove the BPC cradle from the vessel. It
should remain inside the mixer during operation.
8. Lock the motor drive by closing the engagement door. Push the red
handle to the left (Figure 5.19) after latching in order to clamp and
lock the door. Replace the motor drive safety guard, ensuring that
the tube sets are on the outside of the guard (Figure 5.20).

flange through the tank cutout.

tubes centered and not twisted.
4. Lower the BPC into the tank. Continue loading the BPC.
5. The inside floor of the tank will include three cutouts. Route the two
outlet tube sets through the smaller, forward-facing cutouts, and
the shaft through the larger, center cutout, into the motor drive.
Then remove the C-clips.
6. It is critical to correctly install the rolling diaphragm in its proper
location. Ensure that the rolling diaphragm and the two outlet tubes
are centered and not twisted. (Figures 5.17 and 5.18).
Note:
If you
are using the locking version of the rolling diaphragm, place the
back of the lip into the vessel first. Then, pull the diaphragm on
both sides from the back to the front, until it is through the bottom
cutout and locks into place.
