1. Select the ECG parameter window to enter the [
ECG Setup
] menu.

] and then select [
3-lead

] according to the
applied electrodes.

enter the
required password
4. Select

Others >>

ECG Standard
] and then select [
AHA
] or [
IEC
] according to the
standard that is applied for your hospital.
7.3.3 ECG Lead Placements
3-Leadwire Electrode Placement
Following is an electrode configuration when
using 3 leadwires:
RA placement: directly below the
clavicle and near the right shoulder.
LA placement: directly below the
clavicle and near the left shoulder.
LL placement: on the left lower
abdomen.
5-Leadwire Electrode Placement
Following is an electrode
configuration when using 5 leadwires:
RA placement: directly below the
clavicle and near the right
shoulder.
LA placement: directly below the
clavicle and near the left
shoulder.
RL placement: on the right lower
abdomen.
