Manual conventions
When the wording “Click Start ...” is used, this refers to the Windows
®
Start
button. Compared to Windows
®
XP, Windows
®
Vista and Windows
®
7, the Start
Menu has undergone some significant changes. The taskbar icon is no longer
labeled "Start" and is now simply the pearl icon (of the window
-
frame in an orb).
For clarity and convenience, these conventions are used throughout this
manual:
l
Menu names
from the display appear in bold, blue lettering.
l
Settings
within a menu appear in bold, red lettering.
l
Front panel controls
and
control names
appear in bold, black lettering.
