As the Start/Stop event are software processed events, there is a response
time before the Start/Stop is executed. After an event is received, a 100 ms
“disable” time period starts. During the disable time period, the same event will
not be detected. For example, if a Start event is received, a new start event will
not be detected for 100 ms. However, if a Stop event occurrrs immediately after
a Start event is detected, the Stop event will be detected. The Stop event will
then be processed immediately after the acquisition is started due to the Start
event.
