Checking the patient auxiliary current
(1) Measurement wiring diagram
(2) Patient auxiliary current measurement points
Measurement point A
RA terminal of patient cable
Measurement point B
All sensors (Short all electrodes except RA terminal.)
Place the MD in between measurement point A and B.
(3) Patient auxiliary current measurement conditions
It is necessary to measure the patient auxiliary current under two conditions: normal
condition and single fault condition.
(4) How to reproduce a single fault condition
You can reproduce a single fault condition by connecting the conversion plug to the power
outlet with the earth wire not connected.
How to change the phase
You can switch the phase by inserting the conversion plug into the power outlet upside
down.
(5) Acceptance standards
Check that the maximum current value meets the following judgment criteria.
Normal condition
0.01 mA or less
Single fault condition 0.05 mA or less
VS-1500
Electrodes
other than RA
Short-circuit the electrodes
other than RA
