CAUTION
Be sure not to apply excessive pressure when applying pressure. The pressure
gauge could break.
(1) Connect the following items to the VS-1500.
・
A calibrated sphygmomanometer or pressure gauge
・
500ml air tanks
・
Inflation bulb
・
T-tubes
・
Air tubes
Connect the air tubes to the air connectors on the instrument. Perform a test for each site.
Consult our head office for information on how to set up the air tanks and the T-tubes.

(3) Disconnect one air tube connection to confirm that the pressure measurement units on the
VS-1500 and pressure gauge return to atmospheric pressure.
(4) Touch [Sensor Offset] to check that the pressure value in the [Official Approval Mode] window
indicates 0 mmHg.
(5) Reconnect the disconnected air tube.
(6) Use the inflation bulb to apply a pressure of 50 mmHg and maintain this pressure. Compare the
pressure value in the [Inspection Mode] window with that indicated by the pressure gauge.
(7) Confirm that the pressure difference is ±3 mmHg or less.
(8) Also compare the pressure values at 100, 150, 250 and 280 mmHg pressure.
(9) Touch [Return] to return to the [Maintenance menu].
