Mechanical Inspection (
Perform the following inspection by actually operating the instrument.)

2 Lead cable
Verify that it can be connected /
disconnected to the main unit
smoothly. Smooth connection /

3 Clip electrode
Verify proper connection to the
lead cable. Should be properly connected.
4 Chest electrode
Verify proper connection to the
lead cable. Should be properly connected.
5 Cuff
Verify that it can be connected /
disconnected to the air hose
smoothly. Smooth connection /
disconnection to the air hose
should be possible.
6 Air hose
Verify that it can be connected /
disconnected to the main unit and
cuff smoothly. Smooth connection /
disconnection to the main unit
and cuff should be possible.
7 PCG microphone
Verify that it can be connected /
disconnected to the main unit

should be possible.

Verify that it can be connected /

Verify that it can be connected /

Electrical Inspection
Item Inspection Item Procedure Criteria
1 Power supply
Turn the power ON and check the
display. Display turns ON at power ON.
2 Display
Verify if any abnormality or flickering. No abnormality or flickering
should be found. Waveforms
should be properly displayed.
3 Printout
Verify that waveforms can be printed. Waveforms should be properly
printed.
4 Zero balance
With each air connector open to the
atmosphere, check the displayed
pressure value. Should be within
±
1mmHg.

5 BP measurement
Perform test measurement with cuffs
applied to both brachial and ankles. Proper BP value should be
measured.

Maintenance Test
Inspection Item Procedure Criteria
Built-in recorder
test Check according to “5.3.2 Testing
Built-in Thermal Array Recorder”.
There should be no zigzag, missing dots, uneven
prints. Recording speed should be within 25,
50mm ±3%.
