5.3.10 Testing Pump Unit
Use this function to test the pump unit.
5.3.10.1 Test Method
(1) Set up the following equipment and make the connections shown below to the VS-1500.
・
Four 500ml air tanks
・ 2.5 m air hose (OA-400A, OA-400B)
Connect one end of the air hose to an air tank and connect the other end to an air connector on
the instrument. Connect all four tanks as functionality for all four limbs will be tested
simultaneously.
Consult our head office for information on how to set up the air tanks.
(2) Press the (Menu) key to open the [Top Menu], then touch [Initial Setting/Maintenance] Æ
[Maintenance] Æ [OK ( ↵ )] Æ [Pressure Test] to open the [Pressure Test] window.
(3) Touch [Auto Test Start] to perform [1. Pressure Upper Limit] to [7. Time Limit] test items in order.
Press the (Stop) key to end testing.
(4) To perform an individual test, touch any of the keys between [1. Pressure Upper Limit] to [7. Time
Limit].
(5) Touching [High Speed] to perform tests at [High Speed] changes the time limit set by [6) Time
Limit] to shorten test time from 130 s to 8 s. Touching [High Speed] again, returns [High Speed] to
normal speed mode.
(6) Any test result outside the allowable range is highlighted.
(7) Touch [Return] to return to the [Maintenance menu].
