6.6 Fixed Keys/Touch Panel

Check if the touch panel cable of
the LCDTP_IF board has come
loose from the CN3 connector.

Check if the cable connecting the
main board and the LCDTP_IF
board has come loose. Connect the cable correctly.
1 The touch panel does not
function.
Check whether the touch panel
works in the [Touch Panel Test]
window of the maintenance menu.

If the touch panel does not
respond, it is defective and should
be replaced.
Check if the cable connecting the
keyboard and the main board has
come loose. Connect the cable correctly.
Check the key cable for breakage. Replace the cables.

Check if the rubber key has
deteriorated so badly that proper
contact is not possible. If rubber key contact resistance is

keyboard.
