5.3.8 Testing SRAM
Use this function to test VS-1500 SRAM. The test is performed in the [I/O Test] window. (☞

5.3.8.1 Test Method
(1) Press the (Menu) key to open the [Top Menu], then touch [Initial Setting/Maintenance] Æ
[Maintenance] Æ [OK (

)] Æ [I/O Test] to open the [I/O Test] window.
(2) Touch [SRAM] to start the test. To stop the test, touch [SRAM] again. Touching [SRAM] again
allows you to successively perform frequency and error count checks.
(3) Touch [Reset] to reset frequency and error count to "0".
(4) Touch [Return] to return to the [Maintenance menu].
5.3.8.2 Criteria
The error count after 100 tests must be "0".
5.3.9 Testing Program Cartridge Connection
Use this function to test data communications with a program cartridge connected to the
VS-1500. The test is performed in the [I/O Test] window.

5.3.9.1 Test Method
(1) Insert a program cartridge in the program cartridge slot on the VS-1500.
(2) Press the (Menu) key to open the [Top Menu], then touch [Initial Setting/Maintenance] Æ
[Maintenance] Æ [OK ( ↵ )] Æ [I/O Test] to open the [I/O Test] window.
(3) Touch [PGM.CTRG] to start the test. To stop the test, touch [PGM.CTRG] again. Touching
[PGM.CTRG] again allows you to successively perform frequency and error count checks.
(4) Touch [Reset] to reset frequency and error count to "0".
(5) Touch [Return] to return to the [Maintenance menu].
5.3.9.2 Criteria
The error count after 100 tests must be "0".
CAUTION
This test can be performed only on the instrument which VSC-150 ECG Upgrade
Package is installed.
