11.1 Replacement of the accessories
The following parts and accessories require periodical inspection and replacement. The standard
replacement time is as follows:
● Limb cuffs ٠٠٠٠٠ 30,000 times
● Toe cuffs ٠٠٠٠٠ 6 months after opening
Worn cuffs cannot measure blood pressure accurately.
● TR-13M pulse wave sensor with air bag ٠٠٠٠٠ 3,000 times
● Thermal head ٠٠٠٠٠ approx. 50 km (of continuous printing)
A worn thermal print head lowers the overall printout density and causes missed dots.
● Paper driver motor ٠٠٠٠٠ approx 8,000 hours of use (of continuous printing)
A worn paper drive motor results in unstable printing due to irregular paper feed and fluctuating
paper speed.
● Display backlight ٠٠٠٠٠ 54,000 hours
A worn LCD backlight lowers the LCD brightness and may prevent the LCD from illuminating.
● Clock battery ٠٠٠٠٠ 6 years
The clock battery powers the internal clock and preserves made settings. When the battery is
depleted, the date and time are no longer correctly displayed and all made settings revert to their
factory defaults. Replace the depleted battery with a new one.
