Message Cause Countermeasure
Input age (birthday) and/or
sex. No vascular age will
be present in the report
without entering patient
age. The patient's age and sex have not
been entered. Enter the patient's age and sex.
(Entry is not necessary if it is the
CAVI value and not the vascular
age that is of interest.)
Input Aorta-Femoral (AF)
distance. No AF value has been entered. ・ Enter an AF value.

Distance Input Method in the
BP/Pulse Test Condition Setting
(2/3).

Low osc error The pulse wave was too small; the
blood pressure could not be
measured. Confirmed that the Cuff is
appropriately installed.
If the cuff is correctly attached, then
double check the pressure of the
patient with another system to
confirm low blood pressure.
No paper. No paper has been loaded in the
built-in recorder. Load chart paper.
Offset error The pressure sensor unit is out of
range.

Check whether there is air in the
cuff or not.
・ Turn the power OFF and turn it
back ON.
Paper tray open The paper tray of the built-in
recorder is open. Close the paper tray.
Press over Cuff pressure increased over the
limit during measurement, thereby
activating the safety device. Inspect the cuff and air hose for
damages or breakage.
Replace backup battery. The battery service life has expired. Replace the battery.
Stop for Safety Cuff pressure increased over the
limit during measurement or the
measurement timed out and
activated the safety device. Inspect the cuff and air hose for
damages or breakage.
Thermal head is too hot!! Thermal head temperature exceeds
63ºC. Stop recording until the message
disappears.
The R wave could not be
detected. Check
electrode(s). The R wave could not be detected
after 7 s or longer. Check whether the ECG electrodes
are correctly applied.
